Bus routes serving San Carlos include samTrans routes 73, 260, 295, 397, KX, ECR, and FLX San Carlos route. The samTrans web site has Maps and timetables.
CalTrain operates commuter rail service up and down the Peninsula, including the San Carlos train station. They also have special service for sporting events in San Francisco, Stanford and San Jose.
